
Throughout late 2025 and early 2026, econext gathered input from members and partners to develop a new strategic plan. The goal? Help econext differentiate the organization, create value for members and partners, and help achieve organizational sustainability into the future.

Long-Term Vision (2050): A net-zero Newfoundland and Labrador that is economically prosperous and environmentally sustainable.
Practical Vision (2030): econext will be a province-wide catalyst for the green economy, strengthening members and partners’ abilities to deliver economic impact.

Member opportunities and public policy & advocacy are part of our core identity as an industry association. In recent years, our considerable focus on developing and delivering special projects has allowed us to build resources and expertise in capacity building and innovation.
