Logistics and Supply Chain Capabilities Survey – Floating Offshore Wind

NOTE: This opportunity has expired or is an event which has already taken place.

Energy Research & Innovation, formally Petroleum Resources Newfoundland and Labrador (PRNL), is delivering the offshore research, development, and demonstration (RD&D) component of Natural Resources Canada’s Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF). ERF applied research and innovation projects are looking at ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Newfoundland and Labrador’s (NL) offshore oil and gas industry. One ERF project is a study looking at the use of offshore floating wind turbines to provide power to offshore oil and gas production facilities. This study is interested in hearing from Atlantic Canadian companies and affiliates who may have an interest in offshore wind.

Econext members in Atlantic Canada, who may have an interest in offshore wind, are invited to participate by completing the survey (link below). The results of the survey will help the study to understand the interest and capabilities of the local/regional supply and service industry toward the offshore wind industry. Results of the study will not be made public on an individual company basis but rather assimilated to understand the capabilities of our region.

We appreciate your taking the time to complete the survey. The study leads may also reach out to respondents of the survey for follow up discussion.
