Corner Brook Pulp & Paper Limited

CBPP Limited is one of Canada’s longest-operating pulp and paper facilities and a cornerstone of the Newfoundland and Labrador forest sector. The mill has been producing newsprint since 1925, supported by an integrated operation that includes sustainable forestry management, hydroelectric generation at Deer Lake Power, and advanced manufacturing capabilities. For more than a century, CBPP has helped drive economic growth across Western Newfoundland, supporting over 1000 direct jobs.

Today, Kruger is transforming Corner Brook Pulp and Paper into a diversified industrial complex by modernizing forestry and mill operations, expanding renewable energy generation, and investing in new technologies that reduce emissions and enhance competitiveness. Building on its skilled workforce, sustainable fibre resources, and established infrastructure, Kruger is investing in CBPP to secure the long-term future of the mill site, forest operations, and renewable energy sites for generations to come.
